Opening - Welcome • Susan called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m. She welcomed members and staff. II. Approval of Minutes • Alan Mullendore motioned to approve the November 7, 2018 COF minutes; Mary Tower seconded; motion approved. III. Citizen Participation • No citizens present or participating IV. Receipt of Communications • No new communications V. Report of Chairperson • All committee members have completed the Civility Training Video. VI. Unfinished Business • No unfinished business VII. New Business Conduct FY 2020 COF Funding Recommendation Workshop • COF has $1,700,000.00 available for FY 2020 funding. We received 43 applications from 37 agencies totaling $2,592,903.10, six of those agencies are requesting two allocations. • The COF Committee reviewed and discussed the 43 submitted applications for COF funding. Each request was ranked based on the average application score within the respective service priority area with the highest-ranking request being considered first, then descending. As a result of those discussions the Committee reached a consensus on funding recommendations for each request. Committee’s Final Approval of COF FY 2020 Funding Recommendations • Susan read aloud the COF Funding Recommendations for FY 2020. After reading the recommendations aloud, Susan inquired if there were any additions or corrections. With none being heard, a motion was made by Alan and seconded by Mary Towe to approve the Fiscal Year 2020 COF Funding Recommendations as read and decided. The motion was unanimously approved by the committee. The recommendations will be submitted to the Board of County Commissioner’s for approval. ● COF Committee Meeting Dates TBD VIII. Committee Member Comments • Committee members voiced concerns that several organizations are requesting funding for identical services. • The committee also thanked the staff for their work and effort in putting the workshop together. IX.
