President Sue Harr called the meeting to order at 4:05p.m. ATTENDANCE: Katie Carr, Sue Harr, Joe Layos, Jay Miller, Jeff Semler Excused: Dave Moore and Dennis Reeder Staff in attendance: Jamie Dick- Parks and Recreation Director, Danny Hixon- Facilities Supervisor, Dave Brooks- Parks Supervisor, Erin Overdorff- Facility Administrator, Andrew Eshleman- Director of Public Works APPROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes were approved with a motion. COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS None FACILITIES ADMINISTRATOR REPORT Due to the closure of the facility with the current Executive Order, there are currently no rentals or any facility usage taking place. We are working closely with renters as events get cancelled for dates to reschedule, but due to many events already on the calendar, limited rebooking dates are available. The Mason Dixon Kennel Club replaced the flooring in the Kennel Building as well as painted the walls indoors. Facility Updates: Multi Purpose Building Garage door installation- Complete Multi Purpose Kitchen- will be in planning stages for quite some time and will provide updates as project is Past Events/Bookings: February 22- BAAA Gun Bonanza February 22- Dairy Steer Weigh In February 29- Mason Dixon Kennel Club Match March 7- East Coast Pullers Tech School Cancelled Events: March 14- Quad State Beer Fest March 18- UME Lanternfly Conference March 21- 4-H Tack Sale March 28-29- Mason Dixon Kennel Club Trials April 4- Test and Tune April 4- Forestry Service Event April 4- RHM Spring Open House April 11- Private Event- Wedding TREASURERS REPORT Fulton Bank Account 7237- Checking- 2/29/20- Starting Balance- $5,235.04 - Ending Balance- $5,235.04 Account 7124- Money Market- 2/29/20- Starting Balance- $15,013.32 - Ending Balance- $15,028.16 Total Funds: $20,263.20 UNFINISHED BUSINESS A letter was given to the Friends of the Rural Heritage Museum from Andrew Eshleman along with the newly prepared lease agreement explaining the new relationship between the County and the Rural Heritage Museum. The County is working with the Friends on their questions and on executing the Agreement. The current conditions have not allowed the Friends to meet to discuss questions further or respond. Stormwater pond update- there are no progress updates from the last meeting. No updates have been received regarding requests for fees. In December the Board made a motion to waive 2020 rental fees for contingent on submitting costs of the project to the office. Bylaw review- on hold until a later date Fundraising and Development- Jay is working on confirming the first Saturday in October for the date of the Fundraiser Shooting event.
