BOARD OF DIRECTORS MONTHLY MEETING
December 18, 2019- MEETING MINUTES
The Board of Directors held their monthly meeting at the Agricultural Education Center on Wednesday, December
18, 2019. President Sue Harr called the meeting to order at 4:00p.m.
ATTENDANCE:
Katie Carr, Sue Harr, Joe Layos, Jay Miller, Dave Moore, Denny Reeder, Mike Starliper
Excused: Jeff Semler
Staff in attendance: Jamie Dick- Recreation Director, Danny Hixon- Parks Supervisor, Dave Brooks- facility
supervisor, Erin Overdorff- admin, Andrew Eshleman- Director of Public Works
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes were approved with a motion.

None
COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS
None
FACILITIES COORDINATOR REPORT
The facility has no more events in 2019. An updated schedule will be given in January.
Front and back garage doors will be replaced in the MP building with electric switches/motors added.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Stormwater pond update- work is near completion for the project. Some trees were removed this week.
Significant labor and equipment have been donated for the project. There was discussion on requesting a total cost
for labor, equipment and fuel costs for the project from the donor and waiving rental fees for the donor’s 2020
events at the facility. Motion made by Mike Starliper, seconded by Dave Moore to waive 2020 rental fees for the
donor’s three annual events at the facility pending submittal of cost to the office of costs incurred from the project.
Ag Board Checking account- Officer’s of the Board will meet with Budget and Finance on December 9 to discuss the
checking account procedures for the Ag Board. The Ag Board was given a $20235.04 check in total from the Friends
of RHM account to be deposited into the Ag Board’s new account at the Board’s bank of choice.
Fundraising and Development- from the Shooting event, donors will be mailed letters for tax purposes for
donations.
Bylaw review- delayed until January 2020 for further discussion at that time.

motion to go into closed session made at 4:21pm; motion to come out of closed session made at 4:37pm.
Meeting Adjourned at 4:37pm
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at 4:00pm
