WASHINGTON COUNTY PLUMBING & HVAC BOARD
MEETING MINUTES
September 9th, 2019
A&B CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Arnold Eby, Chairman, called the regular monthly meeting of the Washington County Plumbing/HVAC
Board to order at 3:00 p.m. on September 9th, 2019 in Conference Room 1 of the Washington County
Administrative Annex Building, in Hagerstown, Maryland. Board members present were Arnold Eby,
Brian Tana, Benjamin Ebersole, Gary price, and Michael Wathen. Ashley Holloway, Director of Plan
Review and Permitting, Becky Gander, Chief of Permits, and Heather Capezuto, Clerk to Board, were
also present.
MINUTES
The minutes for the July 1st, 2019 Plumbing/HVAC Board meeting were accepted as written.
NEW BUSINESS
1. PERMITTING & INSPECTION COMMENTS
• Becky Gander advised the Board that the local amendment for the upcoming code
adoption are being finalized and will soon go before the Commissioners for final
approval.
• Ashley Holloway advised the Board of the reinstitution of County Outreach
Meetings.
2. HEALTH DEPT. COMMENTS
• No representative from the Health Department was present for this meeting.
3. OPEN DISCUSSION
• No open discussion.
4. APPLICANTS THAT WERE ISSUED A PLUMBING OR MECHANICAL
LICENSE

5. WORK WITHOUT PERMITS
• It was decided by the Board that the issue would be revisited after the service
request inspection has been completed by the building inspectors.
6. CLOSED DISCUSSION
• No closed session
The meeting was adjourned at 3:12pm
