Meeting Minutes
October 16, 2019
Opening
The initial meeting of the Washington County Community Health Advisory Committee was called to order at 1:35 p.m.
by Commissioner Randy Wagner at 100 West Washington Street, Suite 1115, Hagerstown.
Present
Commissioner Randall Wagner; Krista Hart, County Clerk; Dan DiVito, Rich Eichelberger, Dave Chisholm, Ashley
Holloway, Rob Ferree, Jennifer Foltz, Heidi Kendall, Cyndi Powell, Michael Reyka, April Bishop, and Earl Stoner.
Introductions
Each member was asked to introduce themselves and share why they wanted to join the group and the
accomplishments they wish to see from the Committee.
Citizen Participation
None
New Business:
The first meeting of the Community Health Advisory Committee opened with Commissioner Wagner welcoming all
attendees and thanking them for serving. Commissioner Wagner will serve as Acting Chair and Krista Hart will serve as
Acting Secretary, until those positions are voted upon and filled.
Members discussed topics/issues throughout Washington County which they would like to be addressed by the
Committee to include:
•Opioid Epidemic
•Mental Health issues
•Population Health to include clean water, sewer, etc.
Nominations
The members discussed the positions of Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary. The following nominations were made:
Chair Michael Reyka
Vice-Chair Heidi Kendall
Secretary Cyndi Powell and Ashley Holloway as backup
Agenda for Next Meeting
•Voting for Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary positions
•Discuss recurring meetings (monthly or quarterly)
•Video Conferencing possibilities
Adjournment
Meeting was adjourned by Commissioner Randy Wagner. The next general meeting will be at 7:30 a.m. on November 5,
2019, 100 West Washington et, Suite 1115, H
