Members Present via Zoom: Sam Cool - Chair, Matt Schnebley -Vice-Chair, Debbie Reeser, Lieba Cohen
and Mike Hansen
Members Absent: Brandy Osborne
Staff present via Zoom: Susan Buchanan, Rachel Souders and Julie Mackereth
I. Opening — Welcome
Sam Cool -Chair called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m.
II. Citizens Participation
None scheduled
!!l. Approval of Minutes: October 25, 2022
A motion was made by Debbie Reeser; seconded by Matt Schnebley to approve
October 25, 2022, minutes as written; motion approved
IV. Financial Report
Director Buchanan reviewed the FY2023 Gaming Fund Financial Report. She reported, to
date gaming revenue is up 2% from this time last year. Currently, gaming is on pace to have
the same amount of funding for allocations as last year.
V. Director's Comments
Director Buchanan deferred to new business.

• Review and approval of 2023 Gaming Fund Application Packet — Director Buchanan
reviewed the Gaming grant guidelines and checklist information provided in each
commissioners email packet. She shared, the application will be released April 1st and will
be due in this office by 3pm on May 3rd
Susan shared; she will be sending out an email asking each commissioner their
preference for receiving the submitted applications. The applications will be available
printed, electronically or both. She asks the committee to inform her if they have any
potential conflicts where they may be on a board or have a direct relationship with a non-
profit. This information will assist staff when distributing applications to committee
members for review.
• Reaffirm Meeting Dates — Dates confirmed and agreed on by all committee members.
• Thursday, May 11, 2023 3:00 pm. — Application Distribution and Instruction
Thursday, June 15, 2023, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. — Funding Hearings/Organizations
