Held virtually via zoom
October 25, 2022
Members Present via Zoom: Sam Cool - Vice -Chair, Debbie Reeser, Mike Hansen, Matt Schnebley,
Brandy Osborne and Lieba Cohen
Members Absent: none
Staff present via Zoom: Susan Buchanan, Rachel Souders and Julie Mackereth
I. Opening — Welcome
Sam Cool Vice -Chair called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m
II. Citizens Participation
None scheduled
III. Approval of Minutes: July 14, 2022
A motion was made by Brandy Osborne; seconded by Debbie Reeser to approve
July 14, 2022, minutes as written; motion approved
IV. Financial Report
Director Buchanan reviewed the FY2021 Gaming Fund Financial Report. She reported to
date gaming revenue is slightly higher than this time last year.
V. Director's Comments
Director Buchanan shared appreciation notes from organizations that received FY22 gaming
funds. Susan reported, Kay Hoffman's term expired September 30th. She introduced
Lieba Cohen the newest Gaming Commissioner.

• Election of Officers:
Nomination of Chairperson - Brandy Osborne nominated Sam Cool, seconded by
Leiba Cohen. There were no other nominations. Sarn accepted the nomination.
Nomination of Vice -Chairperson — Brandy Osborne nominated Matt Schnebley, seconded
by Leiba Cohen. There were no other nominations. Matt accepted the nomination.
Brandy Osborne made a motion to close the nominations for Chairperson and Vice
Chairperson. nominations closed
By unanimous vote, the Commissioner's elected Sam Cool as Chairperson for the Gaming
Commission 2022-2023 term.
Sam Cool abstained from voting.
By unanimous vote, the Commissioner's elected Matt Schnebley as Vice -Chairperson for
the Gaming Commission 2022-2023 term.
Matt Schnebley abstained from voting.
Sam Cool the newly elected Chairperson presided over the meeting, he turned it over to
Director Buchanan. Susan reviewed the upcoming meeting dates for 2022-2023 term.
She informed the commissioners she will be sending out meeting request for the
below dates.
> Thursday, February 23,2023 3:00 pm. - 2021 Funding Cycle Application
Review and Approval - meeting virtual via zoom.
> Thursday, May 11, 2023 ( 3:00 pm. — Application Distribution and Instruction
> Thursday, June 15, 2023, 8:30 am- 5:00 pm.- Funding Hearing /Workshop —
In person meeting.
> Thursday, July 13, 2023, 8:30 am — 3:00 pm. — Funding Workshop/Hearing —
In person meeting.
> August TBD — Report to County Commissioners
VIII. Commissioner's Comments — Sam Cool - Chairperson called on each commissioner and staff
for comments.
XI. Adjournment
A motion to adjourn was made by Brandy Osborne; seconded by Mike Hansen for
adjournment: so, moved, meeting adjourned at 3:35 p.m.
