Present: Robert Slocum, Wayne Keefer, Jeff Cline, Emily, Melissa, Zunny
Matema, Art Hicks, Carlos Reyes, Carlos Mellott and Maria
14% of the budget has been spent. $246.00
Listening Tours – Boonsboro & Smithburg (Library), Williamsport (301)
223-7711, Stottery & Sharpsburg (Town Halls). Zunny will follow up on
these Listening Tours after we evaluate the Hancock Library event.
Emily & others spoke to expanding diversity to include interfaith groups
and LGBTQ.
Melissa clarified that subcommittee members should apply on line as
do Committee members.
Zunny & Melissa—Make public know why our mission is important.
Help define the passion to become involved with our Committee. Use
of video to introduce Committee's mission for Listening Tours. Zunny
proposed a script for the presentation/questions that follow the video.
It was suggested that we have an identifiable brand for the Committee.
Wayne feels he knows a local production company to produce the 3 -5 -
minute video.
Slocum asked what we want from those who attend the Listening
To u rs.
6:23 pm Voted to go into closed session to identify new Committee
members.
The three new members will be: Khadija Hamid, Susan Hull and Anne
Marie Mc Pherson.
Carlos Reyes made the motioned that those names be accepted.
Maria Wentzel seconded the motion.
