ADMINISTRATIVE
No meeting this Tuesday since elections held at our facility
BOARD MEETING — next board meeting 11-21-18
REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING — next meeting 11-13-18
BUNKROOM — permit applied for as well as fur -out and insulating of entire
upstairs room
ENGINE -TANKER GRANT — hired grant writer for tanker as well as other grants
BATHROOMS — delays with contractor due to very wet year
FUND DRIVE — first mailing out, half way to last years total in first couple of
weeks
KITCHEN — had to replace cooling head on walk-in cooler/freezer
OLD SCHOOL HOUSE — Asbestos is done and removed, contractor took another
look and not feasible to renovate if even for just storage. So will proceed with
removal. Will salvage name plate and some of the stone. Long term plan is to
reproduce the front gable with the name plate somewhere on the property. In
addition unsafe tree in front of school house will have to come down as well.
FUNDRAISING — Going great, soup n sandwich sale this weekend profited over
$4k sold out of everything
ADDITIONAL PURCHASES/BUSINESS — still haven't received reply from terry
Baker/commissioners on where exactly Association falls in the chain of command
within the county government.
We want to go on record. We find it unnacceptable that a member of our the
previous leadership that was found guilty of oppressive behavior towards it's
members and removed as a leader can serve on the association let alone be it's
president.
