OPEN SESSION
OLD BUSINESS
1. RESTRICTED HVAC ELECTRICAL LICENSE-WILLIAM NALLEY
• George Parish from the City of Hagerstown explained that if you have a valid HVAC
License, you can do incidental, replacement electrical work. If doing any new electrical
work such as, new panel or wiring, an electrical permit is required by the City. George
Parish and Jim Spickler advised that the electrical work done at the Washington County
Fine Arts Museum was more than incidental, replacement work that required an electrical
permit.
• Daniel Sterling stated that if Mr. Nalley was doing the same work in the County, he would
need a low voltage electrical permit.
• Becky Gander agreed that a low voltage electrical permit would be required if work was
being done in the County.
• A response letter was drafted to Mr. Nalley and given to each Board member to review.
The Board approved the letter as written and a copy of the letter was provided to George
Parish.
NEW BUSINESS
1. PERMITTING COMMENTS
