Payment of the minimum quarterly rate is required to maintain the allocation to the property. If a property wants to restore sewer service to the property, it is required to pay the current allocation fee or the minimum quarterly rate for the period of time it was out of billing whichever is the least amount. In case of this property the allocation fee would be $1,800 and the quarterly rate for the period out of billing would have been $1,473.35. Therefore the amount of $1,473.35 is the lesser amount and the amount which must be paid prior to this property reconnecting to the sewer system. This payment is due prior to the Department of Water Quality signing off in the County permit program for issuance of the building permit for this property.
