I am in receipt of a request from Lyles Development regarding Utility allocation assignments. I have
extrapolated information regarding average daily usage from locations owned by Lyles Development at
18912 Conamar Drive, 1165 Imperial Drive, and 18920 Conamar Drive. Each of these facilities are multi -story
commercial buildings that are fully operational.
The total combined square footage of the three facilities is approximately 106,000 square feet and the
combined average daily usage of the three facilities is 1,797 gallons (8.98 EDU). Utilizing the aforementioned
numbers to calculate the average EDU per square foot of commercial space for Lyles owned multi -story
commercial buildings arrives at an average of 1 EDU per 11,870 square feet. The assigned City
Water/Wastewater allocation for these properties is consistent with the average daily usage.

Looking at the drawings this building is 26,900 sq. feet of office space. So using the actual usage numbers it would equal
2.26 EDUs. Are you ok with setting the initial allocation to 2 EDUs? Engineers calculation would have been 5 EDUs.
