July 13, 2023
Members Present and via zoom: Sam Cool -Chair, Matt Schnebley -Vice Chair,
Mike Hansen, Dawn Wintermoyer and Marilee Kerns
Members Absent: Debbie Reeser
Staff present: Susan Buchanan, Rachel Souders, and Julie Mackereth
I. Opening -Welcome
Sam Cool -Chair called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m. He welcomed
everyone.
II. Citizens Participation
None scheduled
Ill. Approval of Minutes : June 15, 2023
A motion was made by Mike Hansen; seconded by Marilee Kerns to approve
June 15, 2023 minutes as written: motion approved
IV. Financial Report
Director Buchanan reviewed the FY2023 Gaming Fund Financial Report that
was included in each commissioner's packet. She reported, the total amount of
gaming funds for FY23 was $2,543,030.34 of which half by statue is distributed
to the Fire & Rescue Association , leaving $1 ,271.515.17 for allocations. This
amount is down 1.85% from last year.
V. Director's Comments
Director Buchanan reviewed the funding allocation process.
