Minutes of Gaming Commission Meeting
May 9, 2019
Members Present: Brooks McBurney -Chair, Shad Hamilton, Brandy Osborne, Tony Aravanis, David Kline
and Kay Hoffman
Members Absent: Brian Getz
Staff present: Susan Buchanan, Stephanie Lapole, and Julie Mackereth
Opening — Welcome
Washington County Gaming Commission meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. by
Brooks McBurney- Chair. He recognized new gaming commission member Brandy Osborne,
attending members went around the room and introduced themselves.
Citizens Participation
No citizens were present or participating
III. Approval of Minutes — February 7, 2019
A motion was made by Shad Hamilton; seconded by Kay Hoffman to approve the February 7,
2019 minutes as written; motion approved.
IV. Financial Report
Director Buchanan reviewed the graph for FY2019 Gaming Fund in provided packets.
There is currently a 5% increase in funding over this time last year.
V. Director's Comments
Director Buchanan welcomed Brandy Osborne to the Gaming Commission.

• All Gaming Commissioner's financial disclosure forms have been received and will be
submitted to the County Attorney's office.
• Update on the Doleman Black Heritage Museum — return of funds. The Gaming
Commission received the full amount that was requested.

A motion to adjourn was made by Brooks McBurney; seconded by David Kline for
adjournment, so moved, meeting adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
