We have developed several Microtel properties as well as many other brands of hotels and motels. We also own several properties ourselves and are very familiar with the operations and operation costs with the properties. The typical Microtel Inn rented room uses 69.86 gallons per day. As there is no banquet space of dining facilities, the water consumption is much less than that of a full or even middle service facility. The property has been studied by a market study professional and he feels that the occupancy rate will be approximately 70% of capacity. The property has 53 guestrooms. If Mr. Patel rents 70% of the 53 guestrooms, the average amount of rented rooms would be 37 rooms per day. If each room uses 70 gallons per day, then Mr. Patel would use approximately 2591.806 gallons per day (see attached.) If you have any questions or need any additional information, please let me know.
